Bunker Evolved turns the M-VAVE FM-1 into a hands-on generative ambient instrument. Four editable musical layers, 64 sound recipes, 24 complete worlds, 24 motif templates and 32 scales — with quick ways to grow, lock and reshape a melody.

Editor 0.1 controls the existing firmware via USB MIDI. Its host/C-handler and DOM tests pass; physical USB acceptance is pending. Native apps and AU/VST versions are future work.

This walkthrough shows actual screens and audio rendered together from the firmware's C code. The front-panel drawing is an illustration, not filmed hardware. English narration is AI-generated.

INSTALLATION
Desktop Chrome or Edge, a charged FM-1 and a direct USB data cable. Original firmware uses the supported update protocol; AMB-1 is not required as an intermediate step. V15 is the documented stock baseline. Back up your music and read the recovery guide before flashing. Keep power and USB connected throughout the transfer.

RELEASE UPDATE — 17 October 2026: The owner completed Bunker → original FM-1 firmware → Bunker → original, with working audio and controls. Bunker Evolved 1.0 releases that exact tested binary. Its internal RC2 build label is retained; existing FM-1_7100002 users do not need to reflash. This is a normal-update test on one device. Interrupted-power recovery and other board revisions are not established by it. UBOOT is a separate chip mode, not guaranteed Chrome rescue. A firmware rollback does not restore overwritten music.
