BUNKER EVOLVED 1.0 — RELEASE VERIFICATION
17 October 2026

STATUS
Bunker Evolved 1.0 — released on 17 October 2026.
Owner hardware acceptance: Bunker -> original -> Bunker -> original completed.
The owner confirmed working audio and controls and approved public release.
This is a user report from one FM-1, not independent certification. The owner
reported the Bunker screen as "PE1.0-RC2"; the source-defined display label is
"BE 1.0-RC2". No screenshot or installer log was supplied. The exact stock
version was not separately reported; V15 is the documented installer baseline.
The binary and WASM are unchanged. Release promotion changes documentation,
not firmware behaviour or the embedded RC2 build label.

REPEATED FOR THIS PUBLICATION: PASS
19/19 defined native suites compiled and passed:
storage_test, upreset_test, input_test, midi_uart_test, scale_test, project_test,
motion_test, detail_test, ui155_test, v156_test, fun10_test, midi_control_test,
audio_test, persistence_test, backup_test, editor_test, robust_test,
fm6bank_test, ui_test.
This is the defined release subset, not every optional upstream suite.

GROW: 3,309,372 assertions. All 12 keys x 32 scales x 4 styles, target range
24..108 and scale membership, rhythm/velocity/chance preservation, actual
panel gestures, exact undo, persistence, ONE/ALL, recording/chain guards,
drum/slice exclusion, empty patterns, edge notes and live LOCK.
Bunker smoke: 3,809,144 checks, 24 worlds, 64 sounds, 24 motifs x 32 scales,
actual controls, freeze, project persistence and recording ownership.

INSTALLER / ARCHIVE TESTS: PASS IN HOST MODEL
1024 binary pack/unpack round trips, bounded SysEx queue, malformed frames,
zero/oversized/out-of-range reads, disconnect, failed completion ACK,
identity mismatch, error cleanup and MIDI-loader retry.
Simulated starting identities include original V14 and V15, AMB and RC1.
These establish host protocol handling, not execution of proprietary stock code.
DOM integration: detection never flashes; explicit acknowledgement is required;
stock-V15 identity -> RC2 installation and RC1 rollback; bad SHA rejected.

New music archive UI reuses Felucca's existing complete-backup protocol.
Native backup tests and browser archive-codec tests pass. Integration with the
actual archive codec checks read-only capture, complete CRC validation,
explicit restore consent, all object transfers, cleanup, corruption refusal,
foreign-firmware refusal, and backup disabled for stock identities.
Backup/restore require a stopped, running Bunker RC1/RC2. Restore is not a
transaction across every object: disconnect can leave some objects replaced.
No real USB backup/restore session was performed by the agent.

PRIOR RC2 MEASUREMENTS, STILL APPLICABLE TO THE IDENTICAL BINARY
Build: application 527692 bytes; loader 6934 bytes.
.data+.bss 61156 / 73728 bytes. Pool 328924 / 368640 bytes.
Single-core build; the experimental second core is disabled.
RAM flash routine: 916 instructions, no XIP calls. HAL-only register access.
These are layout checks, not chip CPU-headroom measurements.

Stress: 3606.50 seconds of simulated audio, 322,108,942 assertions,
maximum 8 voices, peak 8675 / 32768, RMS 713.65. Changes include worlds,
sounds, scales, tempos, motifs, GROW and undo, and all six HOME pages.
Accelerated host execution, not a one-hour physical device test.

Memory checks: GROW combinations plus 1202.50 simulated seconds,
107,399,922 assertions, maximum 8 voices, peak 8439 / 32768.
No ASan or enabled UBSan report. Flags:
-fsanitize=address,undefined
-fno-sanitize=signed-integer-overflow,shift,bounds,object-size,pointer-overflow
-fno-sanitize-recover=all -ffp-contract=off
ASAN_OPTIONS=detect_leaks=0
Excluded categories include fixed-point wrapping and the host XIP model;
this is not a claim of complete freedom from undefined behaviour.

Audio/WASM: 88200 stereo frames match native C bit for bit. The native
reference also matches the preserved RC1 audio render bit for bit.
Boot, keys, LEDs, MIDI controls, PLAY, encoders and preset persistence pass.
The unchanged 64-sound/24-world library and listening previews retain their
RC1 audibility/distinct-PCM checks, available in docs/test-results-rc1.

OTA/loader: modelled RC1 -> RC2 and RC2 -> RC1 round trips preserve protected
boot and user regions. CRC, wrong-board, write windows, repeat, and the
current and older Wolf/AMB OTA entry were checked. No project-format change.
The stock application uses the upstream M-UPGRADE-compatible protocol;
it was not reverse engineered or executed by these tests.

DOCUMENTATION AUDIT
EVOLVE knob 4 is the keyboard transpose parameter. Default SCL QUANT=SEQ
keeps sequence playback untransposed; choose SEQ+T for sequence transpose,
or use GROW/TUNE for a direct note/scale change. This is now explicit in
the guide; no hidden change to the hardware-tested musical behaviour.
RC1 and RC2 projects use 114 parameters. Felucca 1.6.1 cannot load them.
Firmware rollback is not a project-data backup.

VIDEO
263.22 seconds; H.264 1280x720 at 30 fps; AAC stereo; optional English captions.
Actual C DSP and display captured together, with a code-drawn FM-1 panel.
Calm AI English narration, original firmware music, no camera footage.
Caption sentence timing is estimated within independently recorded chapters.
Frames inspected for readability; audio levels measured programmatically.

VERIFICATION LIMITS
Managed browser preview could not start: sandbox /proc mount unavailable.
DOM, links, package hashes and scripts checked; interactive Chrome layout,
Web MIDI permission/USB behaviour and browser audio remain unverified here.
The normal original-firmware round trip is owner-confirmed. USB interruption,
battery and power-loss recovery are not established by that report or by host
tests. No deliberately interrupted flash tested.
Watchdog, eight-voice budget and overload fade remain active. UBOOT is a chip
mode, not guaranteed Chrome rescue. Do not provoke power loss as a test.

Full corresponding source, notices, build instructions and logs are supplied.

EDITOR 0.1 — 17 October 2026
Actual JavaScript requests through the firmware's real C SysEx handler in a host harness:
49,337 assertions passed. All 64 sound recipes exactly match native bunker_sound()
parameters; 24 motifs across four roles match native bunker_pattern(). Four-track
writes, 114-parameter metadata, 32 scales, full step fields, readback, undo and
stale-undo refusal passed. All 1,536 key/scale/style combinations stayed in range
and scale. Timeout injection rejected queued writes without automatic replay.
No explicit flash erase/write commands were issued by the editor test.
DOM interactions: boot, layer choice, GROW, undo, sounds, motifs, chords, paging
and validation passed (linkedom; not a real-browser visual test).
Managed visual browser preview remains unavailable due to the reported /proc mount
restriction. Physical Chrome/USB acceptance of the new editor is still pending.
Firmware bytes and internal RC2 version were not changed.
